Virginia High School Basketball - Forest Park thwarts Gar-Field
January 6, 2023: Woodbridge, VA 22193 The Forest Park Bruins (Woodbridge, VA) basketball knocked off the visiting Gar-Field Red Wolves (Woodbridge, VA), 50-34 in Friday's league test.
The Bruins (7-5) will now prepare for their test against Manassas Park (Manassas Park, VA). The Cougars go into the non-league test with a 0-8 record. In their last test, Manassas Park went down by Culpeper County (Culpeper, VA), 62-44, in a non-league test.
The Red Wolves now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they host Colonial Forge for a non-league test on Saturday, January 7. Gar-Field will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 59-55 league loss to Mountain View (Stafford, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 5-6.
