Virginia High School Basketball - Gar-Field topped by Woodbridge
January 13, 2023: Woodbridge, VA 22192 The Woodbridge Vikings basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the visiting Gar-Field Red Wolves to 36 in the Vikings league victory on Friday.
The Vikings now sport a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Woodson for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 14. Woodbridge will battle a Cavaliers team coming off a 60-50 league loss to Alexandria City (Alexandria, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 3-9.
The Red Wolves (3-8) will now prepare for their contest against Freedom (Woodbridge, VA). The Eagles come into the Eastern contest with a 7-3 record. In their last contest, Freedom was defeated by Matoaca (Chesterfield, VA), 86-64, in a non-league contest.
