The Morgan Huskies basketball team (Clinton, CT), was nudged 52-51 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Valley Regional Warriors (Deep River, CT)

The Warriors now sport a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Coginchaug Regional for a Shoreline battle on Tuesday, January 10. Valley Regional will battle a Blue Devils team coming off a 50-49 league loss to Old Lyme (Old Lyme, CT). The Blue Devils record now stands at 3-5.

The Huskies (3-4) will now prepare for their battle against Old Saybrook (Old Saybrook, CT). The Rams come into the Shoreline battle with a 5-1 record. In their last battle, Old Saybrook was nudged by Portland (Portland, CT), 56-51, in a league battle.
