Nevada High School Basketball - Eureka overwhelms Owyhee
January 6, 2024: Eureka, NV 89316 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Eureka Vandals (Eureka, NV) and the visiting Owyhee Braves (Owyhee, NV), saw Eureka's basketball squad wallop Owyhee by a tally of 66-38.
With the victory, Eureka improves its record to 11-0 on the campaign. The Vandals travel to Wells (Wells, NV) to confront the Leopards in a 1A East challenge on Friday, January 12. The Leopards come into the challenge with a record of 7-4. Wells won 40-36 in their recent league challenge against McDermitt (McDermitt, NV)
Next up, the Braves confront the McDermitt Bulldogs (McDermitt, NV) in a 1A East challenge, on Friday, January 12. Owyhee will attempt to improve on its 9-4 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 2-11 record after their 40-36 league loss to Wells (Wells, NV).
