Nevada High School Basketball - Eureka thwarts Virginia City
December 8, 2023: Eureka, NV 89316 The Eureka Vandals (Eureka, NV) basketball knocked off the visiting Virginia City Muckers (Virginia City, NV), 77-58 in Friday's non-league test.
The Vandals (5-0) will now prepare for their test against Battle Mountain (Battle Mountain, NV). The Longhorns go into the non-league test with a 4-3 record. In their last test, Battle Mountain notched a victory over Pahranagat Valley (Alamo, NV), 67-29, in a non-league test.
The Muckers now own a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Pahranagat Valley for a non-league test on Saturday, December 9. Virginia City will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 61-14 non-league loss to Smith Valley (Smith, NV). The Panthers record now stands at 0-5.
