Texas High School Basketball - Fort Bend Elkins nudges George Ranch

Fort Bend Elkins Knights (Missouri City, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host George Ranch Longhorns (Richmond, TX), 58-54 in a league bout.

With the win, Fort Bend Elkins upgrades its record to 16-7 on the season. The Knights travel to Fort Bend Clements (Sugar Land, TX) to clash with the Rangers in a 6A Region III District 20 bout on Saturday, January 13. The Rangers go into the bout with a record of 20-0.

Next up, the Longhorns clash with the Fort Bend Clements Rangers (Sugar Land, TX) in a 6A Region III District 20 bout, on Wednesday, January 10. George Ranch will attempt to upgrade on its 14-10 season record. The Rangers go into the bout with a 20-0 record after their 63-52 league win over Fort Bend Dulles (Sugar Land, TX).
