The Monroe Area Purple Hurricanes (Monroe, GA) basketball crushed the visiting Loganville Red Devils (Loganville, GA), 85-50 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Purple Hurricanes (12-2) will now prepare for their test against Hart County (Hartwell, GA). The Bulldogs go into the AAA Region 8 test with a 6-8 record. In their last test, Hart County walloped Clarke Central (Athens, GA), 71-66, in a non-league test.
