In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Duncan Wildkats basketball team scored a good 45-31 win over the Valley Union Blue Devils.

The Wildkats (4-9) will now prepare for their contest against Superior (Superior, AZ). The Panthers come into the 1A East contest with a 2-9 record. In their last contest, Superior was topped by Fort Thomas (Fort Thomas, AZ), 57-41, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Blue Devils battle the Lourdes Catholic Warriors (Nogales, AZ) in a 1A South contest, on Thursday, January 9. Valley Union will attempt to better on its 0-8 season record. The Warriors come into the contest with a 1-6 record after their 63-41 league loss to San Simon (San Simon, AZ).
