The Valley Union Blue Devils basketball squad (Elfrida, AZ), was crushed 71-18 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting St. David Tigers (St. David, AZ)

With the victory, St. David advances its record to 10-13 on the year. The Tigers travel to Mogollon (Heber, AZ) to meet the Mustangs in a non-league battle on Thursday, January 30. The Mustangs enter the battle with a record of 10-12. Mogollon won 53-51 in their recent league battle against Williams (Williams, AZ)

The Blue Devils now own a 1-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Patagonia for a 1A South battle on Thursday, January 30. Valley Union will meet a Lobos squad coming off a 53-43 non-league loss to North Phoenix Preparatory Academy (Phoenix, AZ). The Lobos record now stands at 12-13.
