New York High School Basketball - Goshen Central holds off Minisink Valley
January 6, 2025: Slate Hill, NY 10973 The Goshen Central Gladiators basketball team scored 58 points and limited the host Minisink Valley Warriors to 55 in the Gladiators league triumph on Monday.
The Gladiators now possess a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Pine Bush for a non-league game on Thursday, January 9. Goshen Central will confront a Bushmen team coming off a 61-46 league loss to Kingston (Kingston, NY). The Bushmen record now stands at 2-4.
With the loss, Minisink Valley falls to 0-7 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Cornwall Central (New Windsor, NY) to confront the Dragons in a Section 9 Orange County II game on Thursday, January 9. The Dragons go into the game with a record of 4-1.
