North Dakota High School Basketball - Richardton-Taylor thwarts New Salem
January 6, 2025: Richardton, ND 58652 The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Richardton-Taylor Raiders (Richardton, ND) and the visiting New Salem Holsteins (New Salem, ND), observed Richardton-Taylor's basketball team knock off New Salem by a score of 60-41.
The Raiders (7-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Belfield (Belfield, ND). The Bantams come into the B District 7 challenge with a 2-8 record. In their last challenge, Belfield prevailed over McIntosh (McIntosh, SD), 63-35, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Holsteins encounter the Washburn Cardinals (Washburn, ND) in a B District 8 challenge, on Thursday, January 9. New Salem will attempt to improve on its 2-8 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 9-1 record after their 61-21 non-league win over Killdeer (Killdeer, ND).
