The Grant County co-op [Carson/Elgin-New Leipzig/Mott-Regent] basketball team scored 43 points and limited the visiting New Salem Holsteins to 21 in the non-league triumph on Saturday.

The now have a 4-1 record. They play next when they host Beach for a B District 7 game on Thursday, December 19.

With the loss, New Salem falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Holsteins travel to Wilton/Wing (Wilton, ND) to confront the Miners in a B District 8 game on Tuesday, December 17. The Miners go into the game with a record of 1-2. Wilton/Wing won 52-21 in their recent non-league game against Strasburg/Zeeland (Strasburg, ND)
