The Grant County co-op [Carson/Elgin-New Leipzig/Mott-Regent] (Elgin, ND) varsity basketball team lost Saturday's home non-conference game against Garrison (ND) by a score of 60-51.
In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Garrison Troopers basketball team scored a good 60-51 triumph over the Grant County co-op [Carson/Elgin-New Leipzig/Mott-Regent] .
The Troopers (12-2) will now prepare for their contest against New Salem (New Salem, ND). The Holsteins go into the B District 8 contest with a 2-9 record.
In their next game, the battle the Belfield Bantams (Belfield, ND) in a B District 7 contest, on Tuesday, January 14. Grant County co-op [Carson/Elgin-New Leipzig/Mott-Regent] will attempt to better on its 7-4 season record. The Bantams go into the contest with a 2-9 record after their 59-41 league loss to Richardton-Taylor (Richardton, ND).
