The Valley Rams topped the visiting Harris County Tigers basketball team by a final score of 62-53 in Saturday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Rams face the Beauregard Hornets (Opelika, AL) in a 5A Area 7 game, on Tuesday, January 10. Valley will attempt to move on its 17-0 season record. The Hornets enter the game with a 0-7 record after their 81-33 non-league loss to Dadeville (Dadeville, AL).

With the defeat, Harris County moves to 2-12 on the year. The Tigers travel to McIntosh (Peachtree City, GA) to battle the Chiefs in a AAAAA Region 3 battle on Tuesday, January 10.
