Wilson Area Warriors (Easton, PA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Palmerton Blue Bombers (Palmerton, PA), 57-52 in a league bout.

With the victory, Wilson Area upgrades its record to 3-6 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Northern Lehigh (Slatington, PA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Monday, January 9. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 0-10. Northern Lehigh lost 70-33 in their recent non-league bout against Bangor (Bangor, PA)

Next up, the Blue Bombers play the Palisades Pirates (Kintnersville, PA) in a Colonial - East bout, on Monday, January 9. Palmerton will attempt to upgrade on its 10-1 season record. The Pirates come into the bout with a 2-8 record after their 56-54 non-league loss to Catasauqua (Catasauqua, PA).
