New York High School Basketball - Canisius victorious over Nichols

In Tuesday's league contest, the host Canisius Crusaders basketball team scored a good 74-64 triumph over the Nichols Vikings.

The Crusaders (9-2) will now prepare for their contest against The Park School of Buffalo (Buffalo, NY). The Pioneers go into the Monsignor Martin contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, The Park School of Buffalo was toppled by Bishop Timon-St. Jude (Buffalo, NY), 70-61, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Vikings confront the Cardinal O'Hara Hawks (Tonawanda, NY) in a Monsignor Martin contest, on Friday, January 10. Nichols will attempt to better on its 4-6 season record. The Hawks go into the contest with a 4-6 record after their 60-50 league loss to St. Mary's (Lancaster, NY).
