The Middle Creek Mustangs nipped the host Cary Imps basketball squad by a final score of 50-47 in Tuesday's league outing.

Next, the Mustangs face the Apex Cougars (Apex, NC) in a 4A Southeast Wake outing, on Friday, January 10. Middle Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 8-6 season record. The Cougars enter the outing with a 2-12 record after their 63-20 league loss to Apex Friendship (Apex, NC).
