Cary Imps (Cary, NC) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Apex Cougars (Apex, NC), 72-71 in a league match.

With the victory, Cary advances its record to 4-5 on the year. The Imps host Green Level (Cary, NC) to face the Gators in a 4A Southeast Wake match on Tuesday, December 17. The Gators enter the match with a record of 8-0. Green Level won 59-51 in their recent league match against Panther Creek (Cary, NC)

The Cougars now own a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Panther Creek for a 4A Southeast Wake match on Tuesday, December 17. Apex will face a Catamounts squad coming off a 59-51 league loss to Green Level (Cary, NC). The Catamounts record now stands at 4-5.
