January 7, 2025: West Liberty, IA 52776 The West Liberty Comets (West Liberty, IA) basketball crushed the visiting North Cedar Knights (Stanwood, IA), 74-36 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Comets now possess a 4-8 record. They play next when they host Regina for a River Valley bout on Tuesday, January 7. West Liberty will play a Regals team coming off a 71-14 non-league win over New London (New London, IA). The Regals record now stands at 8-1.
With the loss, North Cedar falls to 0-8 on the campaign. The Knights host Marquette (Bellevue, IA) to play the Defenders in a Tri-Rivers bout on Tuesday, January 7. The Defenders go into the bout with a record of 8-0. Marquette won 82-42 in their recent league bout against Easton Valley (Preston, IA)
