With the victory, West Liberty advances its record to 3-6 on the year. The Comets host Mid-Prairie (Wellman, IA) to meet the Golden Hawks in a River Valley battle on Friday, January 3. The Golden Hawks enter the battle with a record of 6-0. Mid-Prairie won 66-39 in their recent league test against Durant (Durant, IA)
The Warriors (3-6) will now prepare for their test against Midland (Wyoming, IA). The Eagles come into the Tri-Rivers test with a 0-8 record. In their last test, Midland went down by Clayton-Ridge (Guttenburg, IA), 62-42, in a non-league test.
