January 9, 2025: West Liberty, IA 52776 The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the West Liberty Comets (West Liberty, IA) and the visiting North Cedar Knights (Stanwood, IA), observed West Liberty's basketball team overwhelm North Cedar by a score of 74-36.
The Comets (5-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Durant (Durant, IA). The Wildcats come into the River Valley challenge with a 2-9 record. In their last challenge, Durant was routed by Danville (Danville, IA), 56-50, in a non-league challenge.
