Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Lower Merion nips Springfield
January 8, 2022: Springfield, PA 19064 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Lower Merion Aces (Ardmore, PA) and the host Springfield Cougars (Springfield, PA), saw Lower Merion's basketball squad hold off Springfield by a tally of 43-42.
With the victory, Lower Merion improves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Aces travel to Ridley (Folsom, PA) to play the Raiders in a Central challenge on Monday, January 10. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 2-5. Ridley lost 52-41 in their recent league challenge against Penncrest (Media, PA)
Next up, the Cougars play the Garnet Valley Jaguars (Glen Mills, PA) in a Central challenge, on Tuesday, January 11. Springfield will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a 7-4 record after their 35-19 league loss to Radnor (Radnor, PA).
