The Citrus Hurricanes basketball squad (Inverness, FL), was outscored 70-51 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Central Bears (Brooksville, FL)

With the victory, Central advances its record to 9-5 on the year. The Bears host Nature Coast Tech (Brooksville, FL) to meet the Sharks in a non-league battle on Friday, January 10. The Sharks enter the battle with a record of 9-7. Nature Coast Tech won 58-32 in their recent non-league battle against Hernando (Brooksville, FL)

The Hurricanes now own a 1-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Belleview for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 9. Citrus will meet a Rattlers squad coming off a 54-41 non-league loss to Meadowbrook Academy (Ocala, FL). The Rattlers record now stands at 5-7.
