Florida High School Basketball - River Ridge knocks off Pasco

January 8, 2025: New Port Richey, FL 34654

The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the River Ridge Royal Knights (New Port Richey, FL) and the visiting Pasco Pirates (Dade City, FL), observed River Ridge's basketball team overcome Pasco by a score of 89-74.

The Royal Knights (8-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Mitchell (New Port Richey, FL). The Mustangs come into the non-league challenge with a 6-7 record. In their last challenge, Mitchell defeated Anclote (Holiday, FL), 70-47, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Pirates battle the Pinellas Park Patriots (Largo, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 10. Pasco will attempt to improve on its 9-7 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 0-7 record after their 64-51 non-league loss to Dunedin (Dunedin, FL).
