In Tuesday's league contest, the host Fivay Falcons basketball squad scored a tight 86-84 victory over the River Ridge Royal Knights.

With the victory, Fivay advances its record to 11-5 on the year. The Falcons travel to Zephyrhills (Zephyrhills, FL) to meet the Bulldogs in a 5A District 6 battle on Wednesday, January 15. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a record of 6-7. Zephyrhills lost 91-70 in their recent league battle against Wesley Chapel (Wesley Chapel, FL)

The Royal Knights now own a 8-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hudson for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 16. River Ridge will meet a Cobras squad coming off a 50-33 league loss to Anclote (Holiday, FL). The Cobras record now stands at 2-15.
