Arkansas High School Basketball - Mills University Studies tops Star City
January 9, 2024: Star City, AR 71667 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Mills University Studies Comets (Little Rock, AR) and the host Star City Bulldogs (Star City, AR), saw Mills University Studies's basketball squad knock off Star City by a count of 80-63.
With the victory, Mills University Studies upgrades its record to 9-8 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Crossett (Crossett, AR) to play the Eagles in a 4A Region 8 challenge on Friday, January 12. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 5-14. Crossett lost 72-43 in their recent league challenge against Warren (Warren, AR)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Warren Lumberjacks (Warren, AR) in a 4A Region 8 challenge, on Friday, January 12. Star City will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Lumberjacks come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 72-43 league win over Crossett (Crossett, AR).
