North Central Hurricanes (Lebeau, LA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Southside Sharks (Youngsville, LA), 57-52 in a non-league bout.

With the win, North Central upgrades its record to 12-7 on the season. The Hurricanes travel to Northside (Lafayette, LA) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Friday, January 12. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 9-10. Northside won 75-20 in their recent non-league bout against Abbeville (Abbeville, LA)

Next up, the Sharks play the St. Thomas More Cougars (Lafayette, LA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 12. Southside will attempt to upgrade on its 10-8 season record.
