New York High School Basketball - Keene Central overwhelms Lake Placid

January 9, 2025: Keene Valley, NY 12943

The Keene Central Beavers basketball team scored 63 points and limited the visiting Lake Placid Bombers to 38 in the Beavers league triumph on Thursday.

The Beavers now have a 5-2 record. They play next when they host Bolton Central for a Section 7 Mountain Valley game on Tuesday, January 14. Keene Central will confront a Eagles team coming off a 82-42 league win over Crown Point (Crown Point, NY). The Eagles record now stands at 7-1.

With the loss, Lake Placid falls to 0-7 on the campaign. The Bombers host Seton Catholic Central (Plattsburgh, NY) to confront the Knights in a non-league game on Saturday, January 11. The Knights go into the game with a record of 3-3. Seton Catholic Central lost 55-36 in their recent league game against Boquet Valley (Elizabethtown, NY)
