New York High School Basketball - Lake Placid tipped by Boquet Valley

In Wednesday's league test, the Boquet Valley Griffins (Elizabethtown, NY) basketball squad got by the visiting Lake Placid Bombers (Lake Placid, NY), by a score of 56-54.

Next, the Griffins clash with the Ticonderoga Sentinels (Ticonderoga, NY) in a non-league test, on Friday, February 14. Boquet Valley will attempt to improve on its 10-7 season record. The Sentinels come into the test with a 6-11 record after their 45-44 league loss to Saranac (Saranac, NY).

The Bombers (3-15) will now prepare for their test against Johnsburg Central (North Creek, NY). The Jaguars come into the Section 7 Mountain Valley test with a 9-8 record. In their last test, Johnsburg Central held off Argyle (Argyle, NY), 62-44, in a non-league test.
