In Thursday's league test, the Lower Richland Diamond Hornets (Hopkins, SC) basketball squad got by the visiting Wilson Tigers (Florence, SC), by a score of 64-58.

Next, the Diamond Hornets encounter the Lakewood Gators (Sumter, SC) in a AAAA Region 5 test, on Tuesday, January 14. Lower Richland will attempt to improve on its 13-1 season record. The Gators come into the test with a 7-9 record after their 48-39 league loss to South Florence (Florence, SC).
