The Darlington Falcons basketball squad (Darlington, SC), was outscored 53-35 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Lower Richland Diamond Hornets (Hopkins, SC)

With the victory, Lower Richland advances its record to 17-1 on the year. The Diamond Hornets host Crestwood (Sumter, SC) to meet the Knights in a AAAA Region 5 battle on Tuesday, January 28. The Knights enter the battle with a record of 6-10. Crestwood lost 44-34 in their recent non-league battle against Woodmont (Piedmont, SC)
