January 10, 2023: El Paso, TX 79928 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Hanks Knights (El Paso, TX) and the host Horizon Scorpions (El Paso, TX), saw Hanks's basketball squad wallop Horizon by a tally of 47-13.
With the victory, Hanks improves its record to 9-8 on the campaign. The Knights host Del Valle (El Paso, TX) to confront the Conquistadores in a 5A Region I District 2 challenge on Friday, January 13. The Conquistadores come into the challenge with a record of 7-11. Del Valle won 52-20 in their recent league challenge against Parkland (El Paso, TX)
Next up, the Scorpions confront the Ysleta Indians (El Paso, TX) in a 5A Region I District 2 challenge, on Friday, January 13. Horizon will attempt to improve on its 7-15 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 12-9 record after their 57-37 league loss to Bel Air (El Paso, TX).
