January 10, 2024: North East, PA 16428 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the North East Grape Pickers (North East, PA) and the visiting Erie First Christian Academy (Erie, PA), saw North East's basketball squad overcome Erie First Christian Academy by a tally of 76-61.
With the victory, North East improves its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Grape Pickers travel to Iroquois (Erie, PA) to confront the Braves in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 12. The Braves come into the challenge with a record of 7-4. Iroquois won 55-45 in their recent non-league challenge against Seneca (Erie, PA)
Next up, the confront the Mercyhurst Prep Lakers (Erie, PA) in a District 10 Region 3 challenge, on Friday, January 12. Erie First Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 2-8 season record. The Lakers come into the challenge with a 4-6 record after their 55-48 league loss to Girard (Girard, PA).
