January 10, 2024: Waldorf, MD 20603 The Thomas Stone Cougars (Waldorf, MD) basketball crushed the host Westlake Wolverines (Waldorf, MD), 53-32 in Wednesday's league test.
The Cougars (7-3) will now prepare for their test against McDonough (Pomfret, MD). The Rams go into the Southern Maryland test with a 8-2 record. In their last test, McDonough walloped Great Mills (Great Mills, MD), 60-56, in a league test.
The Wolverines now own a 3-7 record. They play next when they host Huntingtown for a Southern Maryland test on Friday, January 12. Westlake will encounter a Hurricanes squad coming off a 59-53 league loss to Leonardtown (Leonardtown, MD). The Hurricanes record now stands at 4-7.
