Illinois High School Basketball - Blue Ridge nips Unity Christian
January 10, 2025: Farmer City, IL 61842 In Friday's league contest, the host Blue Ridge Knights basketball team scored a close 53-48 triumph over the Unity Christian Lions.
The Knights (7-7) will now prepare for their contest against Villa Grove (Villa Grove, IL). The Blue Devils go into the Lincoln Prairie contest with a 2-9 record. In their last contest, Villa Grove was tipped by Heritage (Broadlands, IL), 67-55, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Lions battle the Okaw Valley Timberwolves (Bethany, IL) in a Lincoln Prairie contest, on Tuesday, January 14. Unity Christian will attempt to better on its 2-9 season record. The Timberwolves go into the contest with a 9-8 record after their 73-49 league win over Heritage (Broadlands, IL).
