The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Fort Cherry Rangers (McDonald, PA) and the visiting West Greene Pioneers (Waynesburg, PA), observed Fort Cherry's basketball team overcome West Greene by a score of 55-42.

The Rangers (5-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Chartiers-Houston (Houston, PA). The Buccaneers come into the WPIAL 2A 3 challenge with a 11-2 record.

In their next game, the Pioneers battle the Bethlehem Center Bulldogs (Fredericktown, PA) in a WPIAL 2A 3 challenge, on Tuesday, January 14. West Greene will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record.
