The Kankakee Valley Kougars basketball squad (Wheatfield, IN), was crushed 55-27 in Friday's league battle with the host Munster Mustangs (Munster, IN)

With the victory, Munster advances its record to 6-5 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Highland (Highland, IN) to meet the Trojans in a Northwest Crossroads battle on Thursday, January 16. The Trojans enter the battle with a record of 8-5. Highland lost 53-30 in their recent league battle against Lowell (Lowell, IN)

The Kougars now own a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Twin Lakes for a non-league battle on Friday, January 17.
