The Rocky River Ravens (Mint Hill, NC) basketball crushed the visiting Independence Patriots (Charlotte, NC), 56-32 in Tuesday's league test.

The Ravens (8-4) will now prepare for their test against Garinger (Charlotte, NC). The Wildcats go into the 4A Conference 59 test with a 2-12 record. In their last test, Garinger was trounced by Providence (Charlotte, NC), 69-38, in a league test.

The Patriots now own a 7-8 record. They play next when they host Butler for a 4A Conference 59 test on Friday, January 14. Independence will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 75-63 non-league loss to Berry (Charlotte, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-8.
