Virginia High School Basketball - Eastern Mennonite edges New Covenant

January 11, 2024: Harrisonburg, VA 22802

The Eastern Mennonite Flames (Harrisonburg, VA) basketball nipped the visiting New Covenant Gryphons (Lynchburg, VA), 54-48 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Flames (9-3) will now prepare for their test against King Abdullah Academy (Herndon, VA). The Falcons go into the VISAA Division III test with a 10-4 record. In their last test, King Abdullah Academy got by Fredericksburg Academy (Fredericksburg, VA), 71-19, in a non-league test.

The Gryphons now own a 11-1 record. They play next when they travel to Westover Christian Academy for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 16.
