Lower Merion Aces (Ardmore, PA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Penncrest Lions (Media, PA), 79-65 in a league bout.

With the win, Lower Merion upgrades its record to 14-1 on the season. The Aces travel to Radnor (Radnor, PA) to play the Raptors in a Central bout on Thursday, January 18. The Raptors go into the bout with a record of 9-2.

Next up, the Lions play the Central Lancers (Philadelphia, PA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 13. Penncrest will attempt to upgrade on its 10-4 season record. The Lancers go into the bout with a 5-8 record after their 48-44 league loss to Academy at Palumbo (Philadelphia, PA).
