The Lowell Red Devils (Lowell, IN) basketball knocked off the visiting Hobart Brickies (Hobart, IN), 43-34 in Thursday's league test.

The Red Devils (11-8) will now prepare for their test against Whiting (Whiting, IN). The Oilers go into the non-league test with a 6-12 record. In their last test, Whiting notched a victory over Griffith (Griffith, IN), 52-40, in a league test.

The Brickies now own a 6-13 record. They play next when they travel to Merrillville for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 16. Hobart will encounter a Pirates squad coming off a 42-36 league win over Crown Point (Crown Point, IN). The Pirates record now stands at 13-8.
