Northwestern Area Wildcats (Mellette, SD) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Ipswich Tigers (Ipswich, SD), 67-37 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Northwestern Area upgrades its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] (Gettysburg, SD) to play the Battlers in a non-league bout on Monday, January 15. The Battlers come into the bout with a record of 3-4.

Next up, the Tigers play the North Central Thunder (Eureka, SD) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Ipswich will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record.
