January 11, 2025: Wapakoneta, OH 45895 The Wapakoneta Redskins basketball squad scored 57 points and held the visiting Perry Commodores to 43 in the Redskins non-league victory on Saturday.
With the victory, Wapakoneta upgrades its record to 5-7 on the year. The Redskins travel to Van Wert (Van Wert, OH) to face the Cougars in a Western Buckeye match on Friday, January 17. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 4-9. Van Wert lost 51-37 in their recent non-league match against Marion Local (Maria Stein, OH)
The Commodores now sport a 0-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hardin Northern for a Northwest Central match on Friday, January 17. Perry will face a Polar Bears squad coming off a 56-35 non-league loss to Van Buren (Van Buren, OH). The Polar Bears record now stands at 5-7.
