In Thursday's non-league match, the host Cary Christian Knights basketball team scored a decisive 81-47 triumph over the Thales Academy Apex Titans.

In their next game, the Knights meet the Wake Christian Academy Bulldogs (Raleigh, NC) in a NCISAA Capital City match, on Tuesday, January 17. Cary Christian will attempt to move on its 7-10 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 14-7 record after their 60-59 league loss to GRACE Christian (Raleigh, NC).
