Trinity Academy Tigers (Raleigh, NC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Cary Christian Knights (Cary, NC), 68-50 in a league bout.

With the victory, Trinity Academy upgrades its record to 14-4 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Greenfield (Wilson, NC) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Monday, January 23. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 21-7. Greenfield won 83-26 in their recent league bout against John Paul II Catholic (Greenville, NC)

Next up, the Knights play the St. David's Warriors (Raleigh, NC) in a NCISAA Capital City bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Cary Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 9-11 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 0-13 record after their 68-35 league loss to GRACE Christian (Raleigh, NC).
