Lincoln Northeast Rockets (Lincoln, NE) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Lincoln High Links (Lincoln, NE), 70-55 in a league bout.

With the victory, Lincoln Northeast upgrades its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Rockets travel to Elkhorn South (Omaha, NE) to play the Storm in a A District TBD bout on Saturday, January 14. The Storm come into the bout with a record of 7-3. Elkhorn South won 69-47 in their recent league bout against Benson (Omaha, NE)

Next up, the Links play the Omaha Central Eagles (Omaha, NE) in a A District TBD bout, on Saturday, January 14. Lincoln High will attempt to upgrade on its 9-3 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 8-4 record after their 58-52 league loss to Millard North (Omaha, NE).
