Washington High School Basketball - Lynden Christian overwhelms Meridian
January 12, 2023: Bellingham, WA 98226 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Lynden Christian Lyncs (Lynden, WA) and the host Meridian Trojans (Bellingham, WA), saw Lynden Christian's basketball squad wallop Meridian by a tally of 53-19.
With the victory, Lynden Christian improves its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Lyncs host Oak Harbor (Oak Harbor, WA) to play the Wildcats in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest challenge on Monday, January 16. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 2-2. Oak Harbor won 50-49 in their recent league challenge against Mount Vernon (Mount Vernon, WA)
Next up, the Trojans play the Nooksack Valley Pioneers (Everson, WA) in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Meridian will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a 8-1 record after their 69-45 league win over Ferndale (Ferndale, WA).
