New Jersey High School Basketball - Allentown thwarts Hamilton
January 12, 2024: Allentown, NJ 08501 The Allentown Redbirds (Allentown, NJ) basketball knocked off the visiting Hamilton Hornets (Hamilton, NJ), 60-51 in Friday's league test.
The Redbirds (2-7) will now prepare for their test against Lawrence (Lawrenceville, NJ). The Cardinals go into the Colonial Valley test with a 5-6 record. In their last test, Lawrence went down by Notre Dame (Lawrenceville, NJ), 48-40, in a league test.
The Hornets now own a 4-5 record. They play next when they host Hopewell Valley Central for a Colonial Valley test on Tuesday, January 16. Hamilton will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 71-61 league win over Trenton Central (Trenton, NJ). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-1.
