January 12, 2024: Petersburg, IN 47567

Pike Central Chargers (Petersburg, IN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Heritage Hills Patriots (Lincoln City, IN), 56-55 in a league bout.

With the win, Pike Central upgrades its record to 6-7 on the season. The Chargers host Wood Memorial (Oakland City, IN) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 13. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 6-4. Wood Memorial won 81-27 in their recent league bout against Washington Catholic (Washington, IN)

Next up, the Patriots play the Tecumseh Braves (Lynnville, IN) in a Pocket bout, on Saturday, January 13. Heritage Hills will attempt to upgrade on its 12-2 season record. The Braves go into the bout with a 4-7 record after their 75-43 league loss to North Posey (Poseyville, IN).
