Indiana High School Basketball - South Spencer overwhelmed by Pike Central

The Pike Central Chargers basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the visiting South Spencer Rebels to 41 in the Chargers league victory on Friday.

The Chargers now sport a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mt. Vernon for a Pocket contest on Saturday, January 27. Pike Central will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 64-48 league win over Tell City (Tell City, IN). The Wildcats record now stands at 9-7.

The Rebels (4-11) will now prepare for their contest against Heritage Hills (Lincoln City, IN). The Patriots come into the Pocket contest with a 14-2 record. In their last contest, Heritage Hills triumphed over Evansville Mater Dei (Evansville, IN), 75-60, in a non-league contest.
